Executive Board
David Mann
I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is David Mann. I was born and raised right here in Las Vegas where I graduated from Las Vegas High School and College of Southern Nevada.
In 2008, I joined LVMPD. From 2008 to 2016, I worked as a Patrol Officer out of Northeast and Convention Center Area Commands. 7 of these years were spent at Northeast Area Command. Although it has been a while, I still remember pushing a black and white, jumping from call to call and all the madness that came with it. I have no reservation saying patrol is the backbone of this department. Without them, this city would cease to function.
From 2016 to 2026, I worked as a Patrol Investigations Detective out of Convention Center and Downtown Area Commands. I have conducted thousands of investigations, including investigations into armed robberies, shootings, stabbings and million-dollar thefts.
In 2025, officers at Downtown Area Command elected me to represent them on the LVPPA Board of Directors. A special shout out to them and the faith they had in me to represent them.
In 2026, I was blessed with the opportunity to join the LVPPA Executive Board and serve not only Downtown Area Command, but the whole of LVMPD. I have and will always remain “a cops, cop”. I appreciate the hard work our officers do everyday. I look forward to helping you anyway I can.
